The goal of our Health and Safety system is twofold:

To Cultivate a Proactive Safety Culture: We aim to foster a culture where safety and health are not afterthoughts but foundational elements of our daily operations.

To Embed Health and Safety into Our Management Processes: Our systems are designed to be integral components of our business, ensuring that safety measures are not peripheral but central to our operations.

For our 360° HSSE model to be truly effective, it is crucial that all stakeholders are informed and engaged. Our 360° HSSE model is built on three fundamental principles:
  • LEADERSHIP: Our leaders are proactive, well-informed, and accountable for embedding health and safety practices within our organisation.
  • CULTURE: We nurture a positive and supportive environment where health and safety are ingrained in every member of our staff.
  • SYSTEMS & PROCEDURES: We implement consistent and relevant systems and procedures that are rigorously applied across the board.

Our Health and Safety Committee

PPCS has a dedicated Health and Safety committee comprising senior management and elected Health and Safety representatives. This committee’s responsibilities include:

  • Implementing Health and Safety policies
  • Monitoring and reviewing existing practices
  • Planning for continuous improvement in our Health and Safety efforts

 

Training and Awareness

A key aspect of our Health and Safety initiative is continuous training and awareness, ensuring all staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills to maintain a safe working environment. Training topics include:

  • Accident prevention and incident management
  • Hazard identification
  • Infection prevention and control
  • Emergency procedures
  • Security measures
  • Safe handling and management of cleaning chemicals
